Astro Cat Terms of Use

Version of 26 October 2026.

These are the terms on which you use the Astro Cat app, and the terms of purchases in it. By tapping "Accept" at the first launch you confirm that you have read them and agree. By paying for a purchase you accept section 8 and the sections after it. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

In short

• Astro Cat is an entertainment app. Its spreads, horoscopes and advice are for inspiration and reflection, not a substitute for a specialist.
• The readings are written by a language model. It can be wrong.
• The cat's answers and purchases are open to adults only: you have to confirm that you are 18 or older.
• Star Cat is a one-off payment for a period, with no automatic renewal: you are charged once.
• If a purchase has not arrived, or you change your mind before using it, write to support and we will refund you.

1. Who we are

The app is published and sold by IRONSTACK LABS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17350174. Address: 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, England. Below — "we".

2. What Astro Cat is

An app about astrology, tarot, runes, numerology, dreams, self-discovery games and daily practices. The app calculates planet positions, numbers and spreads itself, and the cat — the app's character — explains them.

3. Entertainment, not advice

• Everything the cat shows and says is for entertainment and general information.
• It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and does not replace it.
• The cat's words are not a call to act. You make your decisions yourself and answer for them yourself.
• We do not promise that predictions will come true or that advice will suit you.
• If you are struggling, or your question is about health, see a specialist. In danger, call the emergency services.

4. The answers are written by a model

Readings and chat replies are written by a third-party provider's language model — in the app it is called "the Astrocat model". Answers may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuited to your situation. Under an answer there is a "Report this answer" button — if an answer is out of place, tell us.

5. Age

The cat's answers written by the model, and purchases, open only after you confirm that you are 18 or older. By confirming your age you answer for it being true. If you are under 18, please do not confirm.

6. Rules for what you write

In questions to the cards and runes, in descriptions of dreams, in the chat and in your own affirmations, the following is not allowed:

• abuse, insults and threats;
• politics and campaigning;
• what the law prohibits, and requests for it;
• advertising, links, contact details and spam;
• unrelated tasks — writing code, texts to order, doing homework;
• attempts to get round the cat's rules or to pass yourself off as someone else;
• other people's personal data without their consent.

Texts are checked automatically. The cat does not read a text that breaks the rules; you can reword it. If there are too many refusals in a day, questions from that installation stop being read until the next day. If a text shows that a person is in real distress, the app shows helplines instead of a reading.

7. What is free

Charts, numbers, the Moon, the meanings of cards and runes, practices and games are free and unlimited. The cat's answers written by the model are free in a limited number: after the first launch there is a trial period. How many answers are left is always shown in the app. We may change the free limits.

8. Star Cat and paws

Star Cat is access for 7, 30 or 90 days: more of the cat's answers every day in every section, and paws as a gift. How many answers it gives is shown in the app: Shop → All limits by section.

• It is a one-off payment for a period, not a subscription with automatic renewal: you are charged once, nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
• The period starts right after the payment. If you pay before the current period ends, the days are added to those left.
• 3, 2 and 1 days before the period ends, the app reminds you, if notifications are on.

Paws come in packs of 10, 30 and 60. One paw is one more answer of the cat when the day's are over, or three messages in the chat. The app spends a paw only after you agree, and only if the answer came. Paws do not expire and cannot be exchanged for money.

Where and how to buy. In the app, purchases are available in Russia, in roubles. Prices are shown in the Shop before you pay; the final sum is also shown on the payment page. We may change prices and run sales — what you have already paid for does not change.

• Payment is made on the page of a payment service (the till) — in the app's window, through the Faster Payments System (SBP). We do not receive your card or bank details.
• A purchase counts when the till confirms the payment — usually within a minute. If the payment window closed earlier, the app waits for the confirmation itself and tells you.
• There are no accounts in the app: a purchase belongs to the installation of the app on this phone. If you reinstall the app or change phones, write to support — we will move the days and paws left to the new installation.
• Order numbers and their state are in Shop → My purchases.

9. Gift codes

Star Cat can be bought as a present: in the app (Gift Star Cat) or in the Astro Cat Telegram bot. Instead of the subscription you get a code.

• A code is entered in the app: Shop → Gift code. The subscription's days start when it is entered.
• A code can be entered within 12 months of the purchase.
• A code belongs to no one until it is entered, and works once — for whoever enters it first. Keep it safe and do not publish it.
• In the bot, payment is made the same way — on the till's page — and the code comes to the chat by itself.

10. Refunds and cancellation

• A purchase has not arrived, or you were charged twice or by mistake — write to support and give the order number: we will grant the purchase or return the money.
• You changed your mind — within 14 days of the payment we will refund it in full if you have not used the purchase yet: no answer of the cat under the subscription, no paws of the pack spent, the gift code not entered.
• A purchase that has been used is not refunded, except when it did not work through our fault, and where the law requires a refund.
• The money goes back the way you paid. When it arrives depends on your bank.
• After a refund the purchase's days and paws are taken away. A gift code stops working; if it was entered already, its days and paws are taken from whoever entered it.
• If you dispute a payment through your bank, the purchase is cancelled the same way, and purchases from that installation may be closed.

11. Your data

What the app does with your data is set out in the privacy policy. How to delete your data — on the "Deleting your data" page.

12. Rights to the content

The app's drawings, texts, music and program code belong to us or are used under licence. You may use the app for yourself and share what it offers to send with the "Share" button. Copying, selling or reworking the app itself and its materials is not allowed.

13. Liability

The app is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working, but we do not answer for decisions made on the strength of the cat's answers, or for interruptions that do not depend on us. These terms do not limit the rights consumer protection law gives you.

14. Changes and ending

We may change the app and these terms. A new version is published on this page with a new date; a purchase already paid for keeps the terms of the day it was paid. You can stop using the app at any time — it is enough to delete it. If the rules of section 6 are broken, we may limit the reading of your texts.
